Sonakshi Sinha was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. She is the proud daughter of actor / politician Shatrughan Sinha and his wife Poonam Sinha. Poonam Sinha heads a production company named Shotgun. Sonashki have two older twin brothers, and Kussh Luv Sinha. She studied fashion design at SNDT, Mumbai.
Early career:
Sonakshi costumes made for her mother's debut production Mera Dil Leke Dekho in 2005. It began as a model and walked the ramp at the Lakme Fashion Week 2008 and 2009.
Bollywood
Sonakshi got a break in Bollywood industry with his first film Dabaang which was produced by Arbaaz Khan. She was the lead actress in front of the idol, Salman Khan. The film broke numerous box office records in the first week of release. She played the role of Rajo and most popular is known for the famous dialogue "self daar nahi lagta Thappar Sahab, pyaar se lagta hai" (I am not afraid of blows, I'm scared of love).
Sonakshi agreed to make films to come, as Joker, Kick, Run 2 and Maatraan.
